Steam Wishlist Reveal

Tuesday, May 27th, at 7pm PDT / 2pm GMT
That means next Tuesday you’ll be able to wishlist Dandelion Void, check out our new trailer, and learn some new lore about our game’s setting!

It’s been a long road getting to this point, partly because we have been building new features while simultaneously assembling the trailer. I felt it was important to properly add the new grime system, clothing, and animations before showing them in a gameplay trailer. While difficult, we prioritized this trailer work since it was required for the reveal of our Steam Wishlist page. Now when folks ask where to wishlist our game, we no longer have to wince and tell them to hold tight, we can just send them the link!

Marketing an indie game is not particularly fun, at least for us, so we really appreciate everyone that encouraged us along the way!

What happens next?

We will be getting back to our normal, iterative workflow of creating features, running private play-tests, and collecting feedback. Currently, we do very individualized play-tests with people we already know. As Dandelion Void matures we will open this up to members of our discord.

Streamer Builds

As part of our Steam Wishlist process, we have reached out to content creators who have played games similar to Dandelion Void. We’ve given them an early peek at our trailer, screenshots, and the text content of our Steam Wishlist page.

Overwhelmingly, they have responded: Looks like something I’d play, send me a build!

We’re absolutely floored to get this kind of response! So our focus for the coming months will be fleshing out our current build to be fit for streamers to really dig into. We can’t wait to share more information as the project progresses, and make sure to check back next week for the Steam Wishlist link!
